FANTASY CHARTERS

Fish "Rod & Reel Country"

Join Capt. Clyde Keck for a day or two of trout or salmon fishing aboard the Fantasy. Imagine the challenge and thrill of catching trout and salmon too big to fit in a cooler, and it happens all the time!

The excitement starts when you step aboard FANTASY, a 30 foot Sportfisherman designed for your comfort and safety. Your safety and comfort is our number one concern. With Lake Ontario's size and unpredictable weather it is to your advantage to be on a larger vessel. From the aft deck with plenty of room to fight the trophy salmon of your dreams to the towering bridge with state of the art navigational equipment, you will be assured of a quality day of fishing.

The main cabin is heated and has a stand up head for your comfort. We have the most modern fish finding electronics including a Wesmar scanning sonar which lets us find fish more efficiently. Only a few boats in Central New York have this sonar technology but we feel our clients want and deserve the best.

With powerful twin engines we get our clients quickly to the best fishing on Lake Ontario.

Lake Ontario fishing is getting better. Six world records, several state records, and numerous line class records. Anglers from around the world make the trek to New York State to enjoy some of the greatest sport fishing opportunities that Lake Ontario offers.

-----With the latest being the new world record coho---

Lake Ontario offers king or chinook salmon with line breaking abilities, and the current record of 47lbs. Sky rocketing coho salmon that may hit 100 feet down and be on the surface before you get to the rod! The world record for coho is 32 lbs. To the amazing great jumps of steelhead trout caught on light line.

Spring fishing for brown trout, steelhead, coho, and chinook salmon close to shore using planner boards and light lines on medium action rods. Great thrill to land a trophy fish. If you normally catch 2 and 3 lb brown trout, just imagine what a 10 to 15 lb brown trout would feel like.  And that is just an average brown. The record brown trout is 34 lbs.

Lake Ontario fishing charters open the door for the average person to come explore and enjoy what world class trout and salmon fishing on Lake Ontario is all about.
